Ukrainian representative ASUS has recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of his work in our market. In honor of this special event was organized in Kiev, which was not without announcements. At this time, the manufacturer introduced three new one-piece computer: Zen AiO Z220 / Z240 and Vivo AiO V230IC.
But first ASUS representatives voiced some of the results of its work and plans for the future. In particular, the company ranked first in the country, sales in cash and the second – in quantitative terms. As for the segment one-piece PC, the share of ASUS accounts for about one-third of the sales of such decisions in Ukraine. The following year, the manufacturer intends to increase its stake in Ukraine, but also expects the growth of the market as a whole.
Today, candy bars often serve as an alternative to the standard desktop PCs in the home and in the corporate segment. Home multimedia monoblock ASUS combined in a series of Zen AiO. Presented monoblock Zen AiO Z220 and Z240 are distinguished, above all, screen sizes: 23.8-inch older model and 21.6 inches – at Z220.
Both computer enclosed in a metal housing, which effectively narrows the edges, reminding the new iMac. The top-end configurations, monoblock 4K-equipped displays are powerful discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX960M, processors up to the Core i7 processor and amount of RAM up to 32 GB.
The manufacturer also focuses on such features as 3D-camera, which works in conjunction with RealSense technology from Intel. Journalists were shown examples of this technology, when the user follows the movements of the character on the screen in the dance (it turned out something like a virtual instructor). Another usage – Unlock the computer using scanning his face. And “feed” a photographer’s camera does not work, because it is a 3D-scanning. In such problems RealSense, indeed, provides more efficient user interaction with his computer. But a mass of know-how, it does not go.
ASUS Vivo AiO V230IC – it is representative of a more affordable line of candy bars. On board will be installed Intel Core processors of the last generation, the amount of RAM up to 8 GB will be, but as a discrete graphics card to use NVIDIA GeForce GT930M. A characteristic feature of this series of monoblock – Built-in wireless charging with support for Qi. Such a charge is built into the stand, whereby it is possible to leave your smartphone on the stand during the work, and it will be recharged.
And now the recommended price. The cost of a top configuration ASUS Zen AiO Z240 will be about 77 thousand UAH. But do not forget that we are talking not just about the monoblock multimedia and computer gaming on the class to which the teeth almost everything. You may want to look at the more affordable configurations of the model. Prices Vivo AiO V230IC start at $ 1055 and reach $ 1630 maximum equipment.
